Ohio Department of Transportation is continuously searching for Civil Engineering students interested in participating in various transportation engineering related internships and co-ops. There is no better way to prepare for an entry-level Engineer-In-Training position than through an internship at ODOT. Throughout the year, over 100 college students are employed at ODOT as interns. Depending upon need, various positions are available in construction, production/design, planning, highway management, and other specific transportation areas, such as Traffic, Safety, and Pavements. Internships are available throughout the state, possibly near your hometown or university, at the department's Central Office in Columbus, and the twelve district offices located throughout the state.
